If we want to see any website we will feed URL in our Address bar and wait till the requested page loads in our browser, Sometimes our browser will display error messages like 404 badrequest, 404 not found etc.,

Instead of finding the reason of that error message, we will keep on trying by doing the same mistake again and again.

I think it is wise to know the reason of the error and try it next time without any errors

1. 400 Bad Request

This error occurs because of incorrect URL that we entered in the Address bar.This error will
occur when we do these following mistakes.

– Mixing of upper and lower cases of URL in Address bar

– Using comma-’,’ or some other special characters in the place of ‘.’-Dot while typing the URL

2. 401 Unauthorized Request

As the name tells you everything. Yes, when you try to access the website which we don’t have permission to access or we are not the authorized person to access it.

3. 403 Forbidden

You will get this error when you try to access a website where you should get a special permission to access it or you should know the password to access the website.

4. 404 Notfound

This is one of the common error we confront in out daily life. This error occurs if there is any problem in server side or Dis-connection between the server and your PC.

solutions :-

– check the connectivity of cables or wires in modems and PC
– Switch off your modem, delete the cookies and try to access the web

5. 408 Request Timedout

This error is most common in Dialup modem or in slow connectivity internet plans. It means request you sent to the website server took longer than the website’s server was prepared to wait.

Solutions :-

– Just refresh or reload the page till u get
– check your Internet speed

6. 500 Internal error

This type of error will occur when a server fails to handle the data given by you while form processing. It is technically known as CGI error

Solutions :-

– check the data that you have given is correct or not

7. 503 Service Unavailable

This error occurs when the bandwidth of a website exceeds the limits allocated per day.

When many users trying to access a particular website which has less bandwidth per day in hosting, we may get this type of error.

This error is purely related to server side or hosting, there is no fault with your browser.
