Awesome set! I personally have been messing around with Disqus and I love their system. It fits perfectly into WP and powers great discussions.
Hmm cool Jake
NIce list. Using Intensedebate for my blog which is good and user friendly. It suites for blogger blog too . you jus mentioned only wordpress.
I just compiled the list for WP…
Most of the blogger use default comment system in blogger platform, so i didnt mention that
So far I’ve stuck alongside disqus, although it does have some drawbacks like as you said, it is the simplest to use and i think has some of the best features
Intense Debate and Disqus I knew were there. Yet to try the rest of ‘em. Thanks for the heads up, Sudharsan.
Livefyre is new to me. Good compilation.
for ME too
thanks shanker
At one point I thought of installing DISQUS but it comes out to be an issue with blog load time and comment syncing and I never tried any of the commenting system. Though for BlogSpot Bloggers I hardly recommend using DISQUS or intense debate Commenting system…
Default comment system is always the best……
To make your comment system sociable and LIVE, you need to install some extra plugins to your default comment system. At this stage it is better to shift to any one of these comment system rather than installing many plugins
These are some cool comment systems, but I always prefer the default WP comment system because of it’s simplicity. According to me, it’s the best.
nice share….
thanks……
thanks for your update information….
I too planning to switch from intensedebate to disqus
I totally agree with you sourav…
But if you need some alternative you can use any one from the list
nice posts… but in today word ppl want more backlink so they spread spam , so we should use extranal blog system like disquss….
Rohit Club´s last blog ..Non-www or nacked domain version site with blogger or google sites
Hello You know what some site are really cool and they really keep there quality at place that’s really cool.
I’m using the free Livefyre version, and although I do like it, the biggest drawbacks to me are it’s limiting of nested comments at three (original comment and then two reply levels.) After that, regardless of the reply, it’s nested at the same level as all others. Makes longer conversations/discussions difficult to follow.
Also, as with most new things, there’s still bugs to be worked out, but the folks at community are very open about future improvements and are open to suggestions.
I did check out Echo, going so far as to contact their sales staff, but they are only interested in high volume sites, and the communication I received made it sound like the cost would be prohibitive to an individual. It does look like the best thing out there though…
You can use Disqus comment system.
