How do u feel when your dashboard show’s “0″ post in your blog. *Wired* Yes, a few weeks back this kind of strange situation happened with my Blog.
My dashboard displays 0 post and when i tried to access my blog via search engine i got “No post yet” error. I googled to find out the solutions but i can’t 
Luckily, i got help from my friend Pubudu from Techhamlet and finally my database problem got solved in a minutes.
Steps to Follow
– Install “WP-Db-manager” plugin.
– After Installation Go to settings of the plugin.
– Click on “Repair Db“.
– A new window will appear, click Yes for all options give below and press “Repair” button, now your Database will be repaired.
– Similarly, click “Optimize DB” in Database plugin panel and do the following steps as you done it for Repair DB. Now you Database will be completely Optimized.
That’s it.
Check your Dashboard it will be working fine now 
Precautions -
Backup your database at regular intervals is the best choice to overcome these problems.

Yup..databases need to be optimized. I use Wp-optimize for the same. Do u prefer Wp DB manager than wp optimize ? bcoz I feel it does as it has backup function too. Need to think on this.

I'm using only "WP DB manager" plugin , it has all the options
It happened to us also, all you need to do is to repair your database ,whether from your cpanel or using a plugin.
