After much expectation, Few weeks before Twitter launched its official tweet share button for the user. Many webmasters and bloggers thought that it will be a good alternative for tweet meme and topsy share button.
I had kept the official tweet share button for a week in my blog and checked its performance, it showed low share count than Tweet meme button shows in most of the post 
It’s a common problem faced by many bloggers.
2nd reason is its color, which is not suitable for many blog because users find difficult to find out the button.
For example – Look at the screen shot above
My blog color and official share button color is same, so it blend with my blog and readers find difficult to find the button to tweet.
These are the common drawbacks i found in new share button, i should admit that it is capable of showing more share counts than tweet meme but compared to tweet meme i dont like the performance of the officla twitter share button. [As we expected a lot ]
Modification Should be made in Twitter share button -
– Twitter must give some options to choose color of the share button.
– Optimize it to count the tweets effectively than before…

Yes, I agree with your points, Low counts and sick color.
But when it comes to 'Official', people will go for it and I can see some famous blogs already changed to official button.
Also, it gives some errors in IE if you notice.
