You may be confused after seeing the titles because you have been instructed by many blogger’s to submit your articles on digg for better  SEO and traffic.

Whether you are getting benefits from it ?

85 percent of  Blogger’s experience with DIGG is always ZERO

dont care about digg

No doubt, that DIGG is best social sites for Bookmarking, but i had written this article on the basic of Blogger’s point of view.

Massive Amount of Digg’s

If u want to get traffic from Digg your article must get at least 200-300 diggs to get a place on their homepage. So more than 200 people should digg your article to make it featured on  homepage. Atlest you must get 100 diggs for your articles to get a place within 5th or 6th page.

Just think of a minutes how much time it will take to get such huge amount of diggs for an articles.

Sucks your valuable times

It will surely suck your time to get such a huge amount of diggs for your articles to be featured on its homepage for some hours.

– You must request your fellow Blogger’s to digg your article.

– You must have a huge amount of followers in Digg.

– You must be a “Power Digg” user.

Very Less Categories

Very less categories also a major drawback of digg as a blogger point of view. There is no categories for a blogger’s like “blogging” “Social Media” or “SEO”. So it is hard to find and submit your content on digg among many corporate websites.

Domination of Corporate Websites

Before reading this just look at the homepage of Digg. Do u able to find out any content of a Bloggers at their homepage ?

I’m 99% sure that digg front page is always dominated by many corporate websites. Though you have a amazing and quality content it is very hard to find a place on its homepage.

High and Strict Privacy Policies

We cannot spam like as we do in twitter and facebook, if we do so your account has high chance of getting banned from digg. One should be very carefull on digg regarding their privacy policies.

– Self promoting our articles

– Digging articles within a community [As we do RT_club and facebook]

– Spamming [Digging more articles or following many peoples]

If they came to know that we are engaged in these activities they LOVE to Ban our account soon.

There are many Famous websites banned by DIGG without any reason.

  6. Hi Sudharshan..with new features of Digg…I am sure it will be a bit easy for bloggers to come on the homepage, as Digg has now to some extent lessen power of “Power Digg” users…and yes I totally agree with you on the fact that there are so less categories that makes it difficult for bloggers to categorize their articles..:)

I Suggest Stumble and Delicious for part Time Bloggers!
But Full time blogger can focus on Digg and reddit which takes lil more time to build a power profile
