Yep, personally I wouldn’t autofollow more than 20 users at a time/per day. Just to be to be cautious.
In Twitter’s TOS(automation rules section), they do plainly state that auto following will result in account suspension(my own words). BUT auto following people who have ALREADY followed you is allowed.
The developer of Twitter Autofollower was smart NOT to include keyword searches in the software, cause doing that will surely release the twitter sniffer dogs(lol).

I have used it bro, Now because of this Im not visible on Twitter Search where im missing my traffic. But we can use it if we are new to twitter. but after reaching certain point we are not supposed to use it.
for visibility of tweet you can use Hastags in your Tweets..
